DUCK MAGRET WITH FIGS AND HONEY

Le duck breast with figs and Honey is a dish made with duck breast, balsamic vinegar, honey, figs, cinnamon and butter.

Easy and quick to prepare, tasty and deliciously flavored, it is perfect for meals accompanied, for example, by sautéed potatoes.

Ingredients: 4 people
1 duck breast (350 g)
2 tbsp. to s. balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp. to s. liquid honey
salt and pepper
Fried figs:
4 ripe figs
3 tbsp. to s. liquid honey
3 pinches of cinnamon powder
1 butter nuts

Preparation:

  • Wash the figs and cut in half.
  • Then, in a pan, heat the knob of butter.
  • Add the figs, honey (3 tbsp.) And cinnamon and cook for about 10 minutes on low heat with the lid on. Stir regularly.
  • Cut the fat off the breasts using a knife.
  • In a hot pan, add 2 pinches of salt then the duck breast fat side in the bottom. Cook for about 7 minutes over high heat.
  • Turn the duck over after removing the excess fat from the pan.
  • Cook for 3 minutes again on the flesh side after lowering the heat.
  • At the end of cooking, keep warm and remove the fat from the pan.
  • Deglaze everything by pouring the vinegar into the pan, then the honey (3 tbsp.) And scraping the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
  • Cook the sauce for 2 minutes over low heat.
  • Cut the duck into slices, cover with honey sauce and add the figs all around.
  • Servir chaud.
