Le strawberry banana yogurt cake is a cake made from a biscuit base and a filling made from yogurt, crème fraîche, gelatin, strawberries, bananas, sugar and vanilla.

Easy to prepare, fondant and deliciously flavored with strawberries and bananas, this cake besides the biscuit base which does not require baking, is perfect for midday snacks or for a special event.

Biscuit :
75 g flour
75 g powdered sugar
3 eggs
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
1 c. to c. of baking powder
Garnish :
500 ml of sweet cream
400 ml of plain yoghurt
12 g of gelatine leaves
500 g strawberries
5 bananas
120 g sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar


  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar for a few minutes until a thick and light mixture forms.
  • Finally, gradually incorporate the sifted flour with the baking powder.
  • Pour the preparation into a 26 cm diameter mold fitted with baking paper or buttered and floured.
  • Preheat the oven in static mode to 180 ° C.
  • Bake during 10 at 15 min.
  • Brush the baked cookie with a little milk and let cool in the mold.
  • Place 350 g of washed, cleaned and halved strawberries on the cooled cookie.
  • Soak the gelatin in a bowl of cold water for about 10 minutes and when it swells, melt over low heat with a little cream.
  • In the bowl of a blender, mix 150 g of strawberries, 2 bananas, sugar, vanilla sugar and yogurt.
  • In a bowl, beat the sweet cream (400 ml) into a light whipped cream and add the mixed fruit and the melted gelatin. Mix everything carefully.
  • Spread half the cream over the strawberries, then arrange the sliced ​​bananas lengthwise.
  • Spread the rest of the cream over the bananas and smooth out well.
  • Put the cake in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours then unmold.
  • Decorate and serve.
