Le homemade peach syrup is a syrup made from yellow peaches, sugar and lemon juice.

Easy and quick to prepare, fresh and delicious, sweetened to taste, it is perfect to quench your thirst during the day.

Ingredients: about 1 l of syrup
1,5 kg of ripe, juicy white peaches
powdered sugar or brown sugar (40 to 70% of the amount of juice obtained)
1 lemon (juice)


  • Wash the peaches and pat dry.
  • Immerse a few moments in boiling water then peel.
  • Cut in half and remove the pit.
  • Then cut into cubes and put in a bowl.
  • Puree in a blender.
  • Pass the mash through a sieve.
  • Leave the peach juice to ferment for 24 hours at room temperature.
  • After the time indicated, skim and weigh the peach juice.
  • Add 60% of the amount of juice in sugar as well as the filtered lemon juice.
  • Transfer the mixture to a heavy-bottomed saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring at regular intervals with a wooden spoon.
  • Filter the mixture through a colander.
  • Pour into a previously sterilized glass bottle.
  • Let cool before putting the syrup in the refrigerator.
  • When ready to serve, pour a little syrup into the bottom of a drink glass.
  • Add cold water or lemonade, a few ice cubes and serve.
