CRUSHED POTATOES WITH NUTS

THEmashed potatoes with walnuts is a preparation of potatoes, oil and walnuts, vegetable broth, sweet butter, bay leaf, salt and pepper.

Easy and quick to prepare, tasty, it is perfect as a side dish or a dish with a green salad.

300 g (0.67 lb) potatoes
250 ml (1 cup) walnut oil
100 g (3/4 cup) walnuts
25 g (2 tbsp) butter mou
1 cube of vegetable broth
1 bay leaf
salt pepper

Preparation:

  • Wash, peel, cut and add the potatoes to a saucepan with plenty of salted water.
  • Flavor with the bay leaf and the vegetable cube.
  • Cook for 20 to 25 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  • Drain the potatoes.
  • Mash with a fork, pouring in the walnut oil little by little and the butter in small pieces.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Crush the nuts and add to the crush.
  • Mix well and serve hot.
