Le easy chocolate mousse cake is a cake composed of a chocolate cookie base and a chocolate mousse.

Easy to prepare, crispy and tender, this sweet chocolate flavored cake is perfect as a snack of the day or at the end of a meal.

Ingredients: 6 people
Chocolate biscuit :
5 big eggs
200 g dark chocolate
115 g butter
100 g sugar
500 ml of sweet cream
200 g dark chocolate
125 g of mascarpone


  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler and let cool a little.
  • In a bowl, quickly mix the egg whites, then continue to mix, gradually adding the sugar until you obtain a thick snow.
  • In another bowl, combine the egg yolks with the melted chocolate and butter.
  • Gently incorporate the snow whites into the preparation with a spatula.
  • Pour into a mold of 26 cm diameter with parchment paper.
  • Preheat the oven in static mode to 170 ° C.
  • Bake for about 20 to 25 min.
  • Go out and let cool.
  • In a saucepan, heat 200 ml of sweet cream until it boils, remove from the heat and add the chocolate cut into pieces.
  • Stir until dissolved, then let cool to room temperature.
  • Incorporate the mascarpone at room temperature into the cooled chocolate.
  • In a bowl, beat the rest of the sweet cream (300 ml) and mix gently with the chocolate cream.
  • Garnish the cookie with chocolate cream.
  • Smooth out, decorate with chocolate shavings and chocolate balls if necessary.
  • Store the cake in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  • Serve and enjoy!
